MY WAY MY LOVE
Da Tokyo, Yukio Murata, Takeshi Owaki, e Dai Hiroe hanno ormai raggiunto un’ottima reputazione in Giappone come My Way My Love.
Sono un trio di un noise sperimentale, hanno alle spalle diversi tour americani e nel resto del mondo, ora incidono per la File 13 Records di Chicago(Usa) .
Si autodefiniscono essere “convulsed in the ‘loop’ sound between ‘noise’ and ‘punk.”

In 2000, Yukio Murata decided to debut his new project, My Way My Love, in Tokyo, Japan. Takeshi Owaki and Dai Hiroe shortly joined Yukio and My Way My Love became a full-fledged rock outfit set forth to create new sounds across Japan. After 4 years of well received live performances in Japan My Way My Love is making a move to perform in the US and Europe. Between 2001 and 2003 My Way My Love put that sound to disc with their self-produced CDs, “Dedicated to an Angel on Your Shoulder,”,”Boot Bum 1.0,”, “Boot Bum 0.9,” “Boot Bum 1.1” gained high remarks among fans of Japanese indie rock. This got them spots on TV and radio, as well as plastered their faces in magazines. They recently also took part in the “London Punk 1977 Tribute” [Victor Entertainment], amongst other reputable
Japanese bands like Kemuri and Cicada, performing a version of Wire’s “Strange.” which gained them praise from both independent and major labels. The band also wrote two songs for Japanese pop-goth, movie & music star Sakurai Atsushi from Buck-Tuck called “Hallelujah!” and “Explosion.” Their latest release, “Hypnotic Suggestion:01” [File 13 Records] will finally present this high-energy trio to a new slew of fans across the world. Their sound is a convulsive fusion that resides inside that loop between noise and punk, created with melodic and inventive intent that is friendly to the ear as it is to the mind.
My Way My Love has toured the US this year, and will return before year’s
end – as well s hit Europe in 2005.
