Geenger Records News

News June 2010. Click For Infos.

Hi metalheads! This is Geenger Records‘ (a Moonlee Records sub-label) first newsletter and we’re still kind of fresh with writing a good introduction, so let’s get to the point immediately:

Recently, two Geenger Records bands, Consecration and Hesus Attor, had a joint Balkan tour, where Consecration promoted their new album “.avi”, and Hesus Attor created some madness by playing their “Sonic Gastronomy Volume 1” album (released on Moonlee Records) and made an announcement about their upcoming release on Geenger Records, about which you will be promptly updated.

All in all, they had a great time and we guarantee you will to if you give them a listen!

Also, we have a brand new Bandcamp profile, with complete discography and extras in one place. All releases are ready for streaming and digital download, together with cover previews, lyrics, videos and tech details, and there are physical goods available (CDs, t-shirts and more) as well.

Head over to Bandcamp and indulge yourself!

Our flagship post-metal experimentalists Consecration will appear on this year’s edition of EXIT Festival (Novi Sad, Serbia), where they will share the biggest stage with well-known names such as Faith No More, Cathedral, The Chemical Brothers and others – this speaks enough for itself so we don’t need to tell you again not to miss this!

10th of May saw the relase of two albums on Geenger RecordsConsecration‘s album “.avi” and Mass Hypnosis‘ debut “Disin4mation”.

In case you haven’t already done it before, head fast to Geenger Records Bandcamp page and choose your poison – Consecration‘s post-metal masterpiece or Mass Hypnosis‘ great death metal accomplishment – or perhaps both if you’re able to handle so much monster riffs and fine atmosphere!

It’s also worth saying that the first Geenger Records release, True‘s album “Still Life”, is still available for listening and buying at Geenger Records Bandcamp.

Recently, Mass Hypnosis played as a support for Deicide in klub Mochvara, Zagreb. Needless to say, this brutal aural clash of the biggest death metal band in the universe and vigorous local metal forces yielded more than a couple of great reviews and visits to otolaryngologists, so we’re not exaggerating when we say the concert has been rather successful!

The concert also served as a release party for Mass Hypnosis‘ debut album “Disin4mation”, which was available either alone, or as a part of “Religious Castration kit” which includes the CD, t-shirt, sticker and a poster. All for 15€. We still have some kits left (and CDs/t-shirts only), so e-mail us or buy them via Geenger Records Flickr shop.

Also, there’s a brand new Mass Hypnosis on-line store, full of male and female t-shirts and numeorus other goodies, so be sure to check it out!

OK, that’s more or less everything for this month, so we will close off this newsletter with links for recent reviews and interviews related to our bands to keep you busy until the next month:
