La casa editrice Castelvecchi inaugura su Second Life® la sua virtual branch Qadeema, con una sede visitabile a Wonderland Island (coordinate: 13,120,21). Qadeema pubblicherà testi prevalentemente in inglese, promuovendo autori e libri che raccontano i mondi virtuali nella loro complessità.
Il catalogo, composto esclusivamente da libri elettronici, sarà disponibile da Settembre 2007 e accessibile anche su Second Life®. All’interno della sede è stato allestito uno spazio dedicato all’esposizione dei libri, che saranno consultabili ed eventualmente acquistabili. La Castelvecchi editore che ha recentemente partecipato alla prima Book Fair virtuale, è presente in Second Life con uno stand permanente all’interno della Book Island, Media World (231,199,36).
